Beautiful antique Wood & Son “Sydney” Royal Semi Porcelain serving bowl, made in England and featuring a striking deep cobalt/flow blue transferware design on a creamy white ground.
The bowl has an elegant scalloped and shaped rim with an elaborate floral and scroll border, sprays of flowers surrounding the interior, and a floral medallion in the center. The characteristic soft, flowing cobalt blue gives this piece wonderful depth and unmistakable antique English character.
The underside bears the original blue backstamp:

The Wood & Son name, rather than the later Wood & Sons name, places this piece in the company's earlier period of production. It is believed to date to approximately the late 19th to very early 20th century, circa 1890s–1907.

CONDITION
Good antique condition with substantial age-related character.
There is visible small manufacturing irregularities and surface wear consistent with a piece more than a century old. The underside also shows age-related marks and imperfections.

I do not see an obvious major chip or large structural crack in the photographs; however, because of the age of the piece, it is being sold as an antique collectible/decorative serving piece.
