Beautiful vintage Imperial Glass Company clear pressed glass serving tray in the highly detailed Bellaire, Line No. 505 pattern, commonly known to collectors as Daisy & Button. Imperial Glass Company of Bellaire, Ohio introduced the No. 505 Bellaire pattern in the early 20th century. The pattern features an elaborate combination of geometric motifs, starbursts, daisy-like designs and sweeping curved panels that create the brilliant appearance of cut glass. This particular tray is especially striking because of its large approximately 11-inch size and dramatic crimped, sawtooth-style rim. The shallow bowl rests on a raised circular foot and has an incredibly detailed pressed pattern covering virtually the entire piece. When displayed under natural or artificial light, all of those tiny geometric facets catch and reflect the light beautifully. A wonderful addition to an Imperial Glass collection, vintage glassware display, china cabinet or traditional table setting. DETAILS Maker: Imperial Glass Company Location: Bellaire, Ohio, USA Pattern: Bellaire Line/Pattern No.: 505 Common Pattern Name: Daisy & Button Material: Clear pressed glass Color: Clear / Crystal Type: Serving bowl / decorative bowl Edge: Crimped sawtooth-style edge Diameter: Approximately 11 inches Height: Approximately 1½–2 inches Foot: Raised circular foot Quantity: 1 bowl Please refer to the measurement photographs for additional size information. CONDITION Very good vintage condition. The glass remains beautifully clear and the intricate pressed design shows extremely well. I do not see any obvious major cracks or significant breaks. Because this piece has an elaborate crimped/sawtooth edge with numerous small points, please carefully review the close-up photographs of the rim for exact condition. As with antique and vintage pressed glass, minor surface wear, mold marks, bubbles, straw marks, seams or other manufacturing characteristics may be present. These are common with older pressed glass and are not necessarily damage. Please review all photographs carefully. The photographs are part of the description and show the actual item you will receive.
